GLP-1 Receptor

GLP-1 is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist. This medicine is also used together with diet and exercise to help lose weight and keep the weight off in patients with obesity caused by certain conditions.

MICC shots

MIC injections are a common treatment for fat loss. Like other nutrient-rich treatments, MIC injections work by exposing the body to various nutrients designed to encourage the body to naturally get rid of fatty deposits.

Peptides

Peptide therapy refers to utilizing peptides via capsules, injectables, or protein powders to boost hormones.
There are different types of peptides that can target different areas.

This medication is a peptide molecule that is produced synthetically that acts on both GIP and GLP-1 receptors as a receptor agonist. Due to this unique dual activity property, it is also referred to as ‘twincretin’.

Botox

Botox is an FDA-approved injectable product used to relax the muscles in order to soften the wrinkles on the skin.  The procedure is relatively quick and painless. Full results expected around 5-7 days.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are non-surgical injectables used to restore volume, smoothness, and plumpness to the skin. Loss of volume occurs as we age, and can result in the formation of wrinkles and fine lines. This treatment is minimally invasive, and the results are immediate. Results can last anywhere from 6 months to over a year, depending on the type of filler used as well as other factors such as lifestyle and metabolism. Pricing will vary per area.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long is my initial consultation?

Typically around 45 minutes. A member of our team will get a brief medical history and answer any questions.

How long are follow up appointments?

15 minutes or less. We go over any side effects you may be having and any questions/concerns/suggestions we may have as well.

How often do I need to come in for follow up appointments?

Each patient has 1 appointment per month to get next dosage of medications.

Born and raised in Arizona, Nikkalena graduated from nursing school in 2018 and has been a registered nurse since 2019. She has worked on Progressive Care units as well as Telemetry units in the hospital. After 4 1/2 years in the hospital, she transitioned to the weight loss industry to focus more on preventative care. Recently receiving her aesthetics certification, Nikkalena plans on offering these services at our Scottsdale location. Cynthia is an Arizona native. She has been a licensed practical nurse for 7 years and have been in the medical field for over 20 years. As an LPN she has experience in delivering high-quality care to diverse populations. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, shopping, and expanding her knowledge.

I am a double board-certified nurse practitioner in both primary care and acute care. My goals are to assist each patient in achieving their weight loss goals, as well as improving their cardiovascular health through both weight loss, and diet consultation.​
